When to go to the Emergency Room

Please head to the emergency room if you are experiencing any of the following:

Swelling that is causing any trouble swallowing or breathing

Swelling that is hot to the touch

Either of these scenarios may indicate that infection has spread into the surrounding tissues and may a medical emergency.
